Hello,

I’m Matthew, and I established my candle-making venture in 2018 at my residence in Norwich, NY.

I serve as a full-time Detective at the Police Department and am a proud father of two children, after whom the candle company is named.

The acronym “GnG” represents my daughter, Gwendalyn and my son, Grayson.

My Story

The beginning of my candle making endeavors stemmed from experiencing headaches induced by the paraffin wax candles utilized at the Police Department.

Consequently, I resolved to craft all-natural soy candles to mitigate the headaches and eliminate the toxins emitted by petroleum-based paraffin wax candles.

I then had interest displayed by my family, friends, and colleagues in procuring my candles for personal use and gifting purposes.

From there, I ventured into retailing at local establishments and vendor fairs.

What’s Next?

Presently, I am enthused about the prospect of advancing my business by launching our own online store to reach a wider customer base beyond Norwich, NY.

I take pride in my candles, and take the time to hand pour each candle in order to give my customers the highest quality product.

I am deeply appreciative of the success and support I have gained thus far and am eager to continue this journey, extending the reach of my products to more patrons.
